Los Angeles Mission College is a two-year community college located in Sylmar, California. The college has a 30-year history carried forward by a strong mission to facilitate the success of its students through accessible, affordable, high quality learning opportunities in a culturally and intellectually supportive environment.
LA Mission College offers a variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study, touching nearly 70 academic disciplines. We are also gaining recognition as a quality provider of the following courses:
• Paralegal - The program has an excellent reputation in the legal community. Many of our paralegals are currently employed in legal firms, courts and offices in the greater Los Angeles area.
• Administration of Justice - Get a degree in the Criminal Justice System and find yourself at an advantage over others in securing employment and later promotions. Our academic programs are designed to prepare students to complete an A.S. degree or Occupational Certificate.
• Culinary Arts - Learn culinary skills from experienced chef instructors who will conduct demonstration classes followed by practical sessions that will prepare you for a career in culinary art.
• Media Arts - A uniquely designed course that focuses on the fact that art is multidisciplinary, and there are a host of modern media genres to take art to the next level.
The campus is spread across an area of more than 20 acres and is located at 13356 Eldridge Avenue in Sylmar.
