Founded in 1968, St. James’ Episcopal School serves 344 students of varying economic, ethnic, racial, social, and faith backgrounds by providing a challenging academic program, Preschool through Grade Six, in a caring environment.
In addition to providing a solid academic base for further schooling and daily living, St. James’ Episcopal School strives to give students a sense of individual worth and dignity and to begin to direct their energies toward responsible service to others.
The curriculum aims to enhance each student’s confidence, curiosity, creativity, intellectual integrity, competence, character, and ability to think critically. Teachers motivate students to excel in learning through encouragement, respect, and love.
