Cooking classes are a wonderful educational experience. Not only will students learn self sufficiency and gain self confidence, but they will also learn the math of measurement, the science of ingredient interaction, and the history of holidays and the foods associated with them. They will also learn kitchen and dining room skills like table setting, manners, food preparation and presentation, cooking techniques and safety in the kitchen.

Katie’s Cooking School provides young people with basic cooking skills that inspire self-sufficiency and self-confidence. We believe that instruction should be done in an atmosphere of fun and all of our classes, camps and parties are instructional. All of our students will have the ability to duplicate our recipes in their own homes.

The family owned Cooking School features weekly classes throughout the year. Each month, our classes revolve around a particular holiday, seasonal, geographic or dietary theme. The classes during that month will feature recipes inspired by that theme.

As a party facility, Katie’s Cooking School is also a great place to hold your child’s next birthday celebration or class party. Your guests will participate in cooking class, learn valuable kitchen skills and prepare their own birthday treats. At the party the kids make their own individual pizzas from scratch and decorate individual cupcakes or cookies while having fun.
