AMERICAN UNIVERSITY FOR HUMANITIES is a global, multimedia, liberal arts institution of postsecondary education emphasizing academic excellence in a humanitarian environment. The University provides quality American higher education based on its traditional renowned liberal education, but in an innovative manner that is commensurate with the demands and requirements of the global process of change. The California Program of the American University for Humanities at Mashdots College, as an integral member of AUH global family, is conducted in the format of a residential college open to young school leavers who wish to obtain their first postsecondary qualification as well as working adults who need to either to supplement or augment their professional knowledge. The Program is dedicated to the study, creation and performance of the oldest disciplines of higher education, namely the attainment of theoretical and practical proficiency within the context of history and theory, but geared to the requirements of time and place and the universal patterns of change.

ACCREDITATION - The California Program of the American University for Humanities at Mashdots College is an applicant for full Accreditation by the American Academy for Liberal Education (AALE), a national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
