The Hollywood Seventh-day Adventist Church is a unique community seeking to live faithfully and graciously in the heart of Hollywood for the sake of Jesus Christ and His kingdom.
It isn't enough for isolated individuals to do these two things – experiencing God's friendship and extending it to others in our city. Our mission is to be a people – a community of those befriended by God – a community on a mission to extend God's embracing friendship to the city. Inherent in this is learning to love, befriend and embrace one another within the fellowship of the church.
Pastor Ryan became Senior Pastor of the Hollywood Church in June 2005. He and his family moved to Los Angeles from the suburbs of Pennsylvania where Ryan served the Bucks County Seventh-day Adventist Church. He and his wife, Elysabeth, have two girls: Zoe (7) and Sophie (4). Ryan has been a pastor since 1994 and has served three congregations before coming to Hollywood. In 2000 he received his Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University and he is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary. We invite you to join us for our weekly Bible study for all ages at 9:30 am and our worship gathering at 11:00 am on Saturdays.
