First Presbyterian Weekday School is a top quality day school that is located in Northridge, California. Devoted to providing a thorough education experience for children, the school focuses on educating the body, mind, and the spirit of children in an environment that is Christian. Programs are offered for preschoolers, elementary age students, and they also offer a special program for parents and toddlers as well.
For more than forty years, First Presbyterian Weekday School has been working to provide quality education to church families and the community for children. Over time it has grown to have more than 300 children enrolled in the classes.
A top quality education is offered for children of preschool age. Children in the program learn important social skills, motor skills, and learn important lessons in science, music, language arts, drama, and more. They are prepared for grade school, occasionally take field trips, and also have chapel services each month.
The elementary division offers quality education for kids from Kindergarten to 5th grade. They work to produce studies that are productive, well rounded, problem solvers, thinkers, and good workers. Basic subjects, such as science, mathematics, social science, and language arts are emphasized in the program. Other classes available include music, bible studies, physical education, Spanish, computer science, and discovery lab.
