Starter Set Preschool is more then just a preschool. They take pride in helping each child, individually, become independent and achieve the necessary developmental skills before heading to Kindergarten.
For children who have just turned two, they will be in their own controlled environment. Here they will learn individual tasks such as feeding animals or cleaning their eat ting area. They will learn the value of sharing with others and how to play with one another.
Int elect is important and they learn that as well by knowing how to ask for things the way they should. It builds self esteem when a child can interact with others their age. Reading, playing with blocks and watching insects are examples of how they will learn the arts. There are several ways that your child could attend. On a full time basis, a half or 3/4 day basis on Tues/Thurs or Mon/Wed/Fri.
Children ages 2 through 7 months before start date learn their fine motor skills through things such as puzzles and cutting. Building blocks, reading, making doh and watching insects are important aspects of learning the various arts. Here they will learn to express them self through creativity and helping others.
As they grow up they will learn things such as writing skills and drawing. They will learn to trace, cut and glue. Their attention spam is sharpened through staying on the task. Learning to play with building blocks and growing plants and match games will sharpen math and science skills.
Children that are ready for kindergarten will have extra learning skills with the forth class. They will know how to write their name, phone number and address. They also learn to ride a bike, dress and undress, personal hygiene, and a variety of other individual and necessary skills.
Starter Set Preschool takes pride in recognizing the importance of each child and preparing them for kindergarten. These are the molding years of a child and it is important that they develop the necessary skills for later in life as well as growing up.
