Live Music Entertainment is a group of professional master musicians. They have been highly trained in music schools and conservatories, and have over 25 years experience performing in Armenia, Russia, and the United States. They have played with the Folk Ensemble in concerts all over Armenia and the USA. Although specializing in traditional Armenian and International folk music, the groups can play a wide variety of musical instruments and in many different musical styles.
Live Music Entertainment music band specializes in clarinet and all woodwinds instruments, including the following rare and exotic ethnic instruments:
• Doodook – a traditional Armenian double-reed woodwind with unique, mournful sound
• Zurna – an Armenian folk instrument, a double-reed woodwind with a loud, strident sound
• Tziranapogh – an ancient Armenian wooden flute looking like Zurna with a deep, but soft sound
• Parkapezouk – a traditional Armenian bagpipe
Other members of the ensemble include Vardan Haroutunyan—a renowned performer among Armenians, Russians, and Persians—other musicians who play violin, drums, keyboards, accordion, and Dhol (an Indian drum very popular in modern Punjabi music), and several some well-known singers and stars (Armenian, Russian, & International).
