To ensure freshness and quality, we have always maintained close, long-term relationships with a handful of fish purveyors, many of whom live in the neighborhood and operate right down the street. From the get-go, our key to freshness has been to purchase fish whole, packed in ice, and to portion and chill it in-house. We think it's the best around.
Over the years, we've followed our appetites to the far regions of the Pacific Ocean, returning with a taste of diverse seafood traditions. Our menu features a virtual breadbasket of seafood flavors and styles of preparation, encompassing Mexico and South America, Asia and Hawaii, the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, and, of course, California's own bounty, from San Francisco's Italian fisheries to the Channel Islands.
