We are a friendly, service driven family practice in the Los Angeles area—just minutes away from all the major studios—whose number one goal is patient satisfaction. Our optometric team takes pride in providing services and products that meet or exceed our patients' expectations. We approach the eye care needs of their patients with utmost importance, offering only excellence in clinical care. We are proud to be serving the community in vision care for over 25 years.
Dr. Fouad Melamed, is a native of Beverly Hills for over 20 years. He completed his undergraduate studies in Psychobiology at UCLA and earned his Doctorate of Optometry (California Board Certified) from the Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Melamed completed his clinical externships at various Veterans Administration Medical Centers with his primary training being in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease with a focus on glaucoma, diabetes, and dry eyes. He is Board Certified in the treatment of Glaucoma (currently only 5% of Optometrists in California have this certification). He is an active member of the Los Angeles Optometric Society, California Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Melamed resides in West Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
