The Math Doctor Tutoring Service has been doing in-home tutoring in the Glendale/Burbank area California since 1998. The main goal was to provide tutoring to students studying upper math in simple easy to understand manner. The point was that many teachers and tutors understand subjects like calculus and statistics but not all of them can relate them to students in a way they can understand. That was our goal- to have tutors that could easily get complex subjects across to students in an easily understood way.
The Math Doctor tutors a wide variety of Math and Science including but not limited to arithmetic, pre-Algebra, Geometry, Algebra I & II, Trigonometry, Math Analysis, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. We usually tutor in the student’s home and have occasionally tutored students at school for those attending private schools.
